Here's what one looks like
The simple way to look at it: it's any page that's trying to get someone's contact information. You're squeezing an email address out of a person. I've seen that done in a bad way, but it can be done in a good way, like giving them something useful in return.
Example: "Get the free packing checklist," with a form and a button.
